Deadline for Neighbourhood Plan Survey Extended to 8 February - Record Number of Responses So Far

Update 28 Jan 2021

We opened a Neighbourhood Plan Survey in mid-December. We engaged a supplier to contact every resident in Henley with a flyer notifying them about the survey.

In early January some of our residents and councillors contacted us, concerned that they had not received their flyer.  We followed this up with our supplier. Flyers advertising the new deadline were issued and our supplier promised to deliver the new flyers to the omitted streets.  Unfortunately, it appears that some old flyers advertising the original deadline were delivered. This caused some confusion. In light of this, we have decided to extend the deadline for surveys, for the final time, to 8 February. We want to ensure as many residents as possible have the chance to complete the survey.  We would like to thank our residents and councillors for alerting us to this situation.

Councillor Ken Arlett, Mayor of Henley comments,

‘Aside from these problems, we have had nearly 600 responses so far. This is a record result! The issues with distribution of the flyer were, unfortunately, beyond our control. It is vital that we have as many responses as possible.  A Neighbourhood Plan helps to shape future development and identifies important community issues such as housing need. Please make sure you complete your survey by 8 February. You can complete the survey online https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HFF7YD3 ‘
