CARETAKER 

Hours: flexible mostly evenings and weekends. Salary: £19,554 pro rata per annum (£10.16 per hour)

We are looking for a reliable, practical, handy person who takes pride in their work to join our small Town Hall team. You will help to care for the historic Town Hall, Kings Arms Barn and Old Fire Station Gallery. It is essential that you are a self-starter and can work unsupervised. The role will involve locking and unlocking, cleaning, maintenance, and working as part of the events team. This role will be working mostly evenings and weekends on a rota. This will be working on a zero-hours contract so flexibility is key.

CLEANER

Hours: Three hours per day – Wednesday morning essential.  Salary:   £18,426 pro rata per annum (actual £7,470 pa)

We are looking for cleaner who is a hard worker and physically fit, who will be responsible for cleaning the town council buildings. Properties include the Town Hall, Kings Arms Barn and Old Fire Station Gallery. You will be honest, trustworthy and have exceptionally high standards of cleanliness.
